Rent a boardCosta da Caparica beaches extend over 30 km until Cabo Espichel. You can easily find public transportation from Caparica village to beaches like Praia da Rainha, Praia da Mata or Praia da Cabanado Pescador – there’s even a special train operating on summer season.
These are crowded areas, but you can still find a lot of good surfing spots around, like Praia da Cova do Vapor, “Praia do CDS”, Praia da Fonte da Telha or Praia da Nova Vaga, just to name a few. The later is specially nice for Kitesurfing.
